The Smulhoeve is an adventure farm located in Kaatsheuvel.
With a stone's throw from the Efteling and the National Park the Loonse and Drunense Dunes, this farm has a unique location.
On our farm, the horses are central and we like to celebrate the craziest parties.

WANDELPONY
- Minimum age 3 years old
- Driving experience not required
- Adult accompanies pony and child
- Walking route on the path of The Smulhoeve (2 rounds of about 15 minutes each)
- Cap and closed shoes mandatory for rider
- Closed shoes required for attendant
- Maximum body weight rider: 40 pounds for a shetlander
- Just a step ride
- Driving is at your own risk
- Duration: 1 hour (half hour of brushing and saddling, half hour of riding)
- Price: € 40 per pony (maximum 2 children per pony)
PONY RENTAL
Brush and groom your own pony and then ride it in our paddocks or in the Loonse and Drunense Dunes. As a horse fan you are totally at home at the Smulhoeve. On our horse farm we offer a number of packages. From renting ponies for a lovely outdoor ride to renting care ponies for a longer period of time. But of course we also do custom arrangements. So if you have a group, friends or family with whom you want to organize a horse activity, let us inform you about the possibilities.
ALPACA WALK
Are you looking for a fun activity? Then come to the coziest farm in the Netherlands. Our 4 alpacas are waiting for you. You can walk with them safely on our own property on our new walking path around the meadows. Of course you will also cuddle with them and have your picture taken together. Meet our stubborn, but above all curious alpacas.
You get a Smulhoeve tin of alpaca chunks as a gift. In addition to feeding them out of your hand with this, use the can to rattle along the way. This way, you attract their attention for taking the most beautiful pictures. An outing to never forget!
CAMPING
Escape from daily busy life to socialize and enjoy life on the farm! Come camp in one of our 19 luxury tents, all of which have their own sanitary facilities. At the Smulhoeve you get a look in our kitchen, the kids can help on the farm and we provide an unforgettable vacation. As a horse lover you want nothing more than to spend time with your favorite four-legged friend. Even if you do not like horses, there is plenty to do at The Smulhoeve. The farm is just steps away from National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen and a 10-minute walk from De Efteling.
CHILDREN'S PARTIES
The best children's parties are experienced at the Smulhoeve. Are you looking for an original party, but don't know what or where? Then come to the Smulhoeve in Kaatsheuvel and experience the crazy pony party "Fun with a Shet". Together with your friends enjoy all the fun on the farm with of course in the leading role all the sweet Smulhoeve horses. In addition to pony parties, the Smulhoeve also offers crazy farm and soccer parties.
