Brabant has many unique recreation spots, one of which is De Smulhoeve in Kaatsheuvel. The Smulhoeve is a special horse farm with a unique location. The farm is just steps away from National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen and a 10-minute walk from The Efteling. But what makes De Smulhoeve so special?
The Smulhoeve is the coziest horse farm in the Netherlands. Why? That is immediately clear when you drive into our yard.
Cheerfully colored wheelbarrows and a jumble of go-karts brighten the entrance and every guest receives a warm welcome from our dogs Wies, Soof and Drum. In the yard the great adventure for young and old starts at De Smulhoeve, home of Karin, Dennis and their three children Mees, Suus and Faas.
The Smulhoeve is a real experience farm where horses and ponies take center stage. The Smulhoeve has expanded in recent years with:
- A cozy glamping (FarmCamps) with 19 luxury tents
- The children's party concept 'Fun with a Shet'
- Pony rental (including walking pony to De Loonse en Drunense Duinen)
- Alpaca walks
- A cuddle barn and an animal pasture with farm animals
At the Smulhoeve, we did what Pipi Longstocking once said:
"Furnish the world to your liking!".
Oh how happy Pippi and her horse 'Little White' would be on our farm.
